National Law University, Meghalaya Excels at MNLU Mumbai’s “Summit on Gender, Data, Technology & Health – 2.0”


The Pro-Bono Club and Legal Assistance Cell of National Law University (NLU), Meghalaya, are proud to announce the outstanding achievement of our students at the prestigious “Summit on Gender, Data, Technology & Health – 2.0”, held on 12th and 13th October 2024 at Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU), Mumbai.
Our brilliant students, Swain Alekh Ranjan (LL.M. Criminal Law), Ahona Mukherjee (BB.A.LL.B), and Aditi Ladha (BB.A.LL.B), were recognised as Best Paper Presenters, showcasing exceptional research and insightful analysis. Their presentations, which addressed critical issues at the intersection of gender, data, technology, and health, were widely praised for their depth, innovation, and academic rigour.
The summit was organised by the Pro Bono Club under the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in collaboration with the Centre for Applied Research in Public Health Law, Rights, and Policy. The event was further supported by esteemed partners, including the Jindal Institute of Behavioural SciencesO.P. Jindal Global University’s Centre for Victimology and Psychological Studies (CVPS)Centre for Criminal Investigation & Forensic Science (CCIFS), and Tabish Sarosh & Associates (Criminal Litigation). Media partnerships with Law Wire and Live Law, alongside Manupatra as the Legal Tech Partner, further enhanced the success of the summit.
