Abstract
This research aims to evaluate the impact of tourism on heritage cultural sites in the East Khasi Hills, focusing on its economic, cultural, and environmental dimensions. Through field research, interviews with local stakeholders, and data analysis, the study will explore how tourism contributes to local livelihoods while identifying the challenges associated with cultural preservation and environmental sustainability. The research will offer insights for developing sustainable tourism policies that protect heritage sites and benefit local communities
