Research Statement

My research primarily focuses on exploring advanced financial systems and developing options trading strategies under varying market conditions. This research has propelled a deep and sustained interest in both traditional financial engineering methods and behavioural finance principles, through which I am to test the limits and frontiers of the dynamic nature of financial markets and the significant impact of investor sentiment. This combined approach facilitates a thorough analysis of market conditions and investor behaviour, often leading to more robust solutions in non-deterministic scenarios.

Beyond the core exploration of the finance domain, my research aligns with the task of investigating the role of university-community engagement in promoting inclusive innovation. In this regard, my team and I adopted and developed a Quadruple Helix perspective, examining how universities can partner with government, industry, and civil society to drive innovation that is both inclusive and sustainable, which is increasingly crucial in today’s context to quell the tide of non-inclusive growth.

Throughout my academic career, I have aimed to lead transformative research projects that advance both knowledge and practical applications. My vision is for a future where financial markets operate efficiently, societal challenges are met with innovative solutions, and universities play a crucial role in fostering inclusive economic growth. I also aim to leverage the interdisciplinary thrust of NLU Meg to develop ideas and projects that can broaden my research horizon along trajectories that promote ethical and rigorous explorations.
