Legal Aid Society

About NLU Meg Legal Aid Society

The Legal Aid Society of National Law University Meghalaya is dedicated to providing pro bono legal assistance to individuals who cannot afford legal representation. Committed to the principles of justice and social responsibility, the society actively works to raise legal awareness and educate the public about their rights and remedies. Our student volunteers, under the guidance of experienced faculty and legal experts, support the resolution of public grievances by offering informed legal guidance and assistance. Through outreach camps, legal literacy drives, and community engagement, we aim to bridge the gap between the law and the people. This initiative reflects our belief that access to justice must be universal, inclusive, and driven by compassion.
